Kenyon College's Ballroom Dance Club provides ballroom dance instruction from skilled students and professional teachers to all interested students and members of the Kenyon and Gambier community. The club is not exclusive to any experience or interest level. Both American and International styles are covered in lessons as well as some fun dances such as salsa, meringue, charleston, and hustle. Students can choose to only participate with the social club, attending club events and lessons at Kenyon, or to also participate with the competitive team.

The competitive team focuses more on skills and technique and travels regularly to intercollegiate competitions. The dances which we teach and compete in are divided into four categories: International Latin (ChaCha, Rumba, Jive, Samba), International Standard (Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot), American Rhythm (ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, Mambo), and American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz).
